Testimonials

A few words from our happy members

John Hart, had this to say about the site

"I would like to say a big thank you to you and your team for your timeous responses to my emails and your suggested actions to remedy the problem. The membership fee was worth every penny and probably saved me £'s in solving this problem."

Mr K Scott-Campbell said

"I wish there were more resources like this for other things too, like my washing machine, boiler…."

I've been to my local garage about 6 times with my car cutting out intermitantly, and each time in comes back the same. Then I came across this site by accident, found my problem list in the Ka page! confirmed my suspicions by email and actually fixed my car myself!! Brilliant site and brilliant advise Keep it up because I'm going to keep buying Ford now

Jason from United Kingdom wrote on February 21. 2003, 22:27

This has to be one of the most worth while sites I have ever visited. Spot on information and it's easy to understand. My wife and I have a Ford each and we will keep on buying Fords. Thanks FixAFordCar, Jas

Paul Giles from United Kingdom wrote on February 23. 2003, 13:01

Top site, good info and good advice on how to deal with the wife, especially if it is her car
.What more could you ask for?

William Mead from United Kingdom wrote on March 17. 2003, 22:31

I've read the other entries and I have to agree with all of them This is an excellent site, well presented and very informative. I, like some of the others had a "unsolvable" problem with my granada and it was solved with one email and I got the email back the same day. Good advise and so accurate considering the minimal info I gave. Keep it up, Bill

An excellent site - didn't have what I was looking for at the time, for but had the answer for something else I was thinking about. Thanks, Bally

Rob Westman from United Kingdom wrote on May 3. 2003, 21:24

I found the site by accident and I have to say what a find. I've got a mondeo, and so far have sorted out two running problems and sorted myself out a new remote key and programmed it with no problems at all. I emailed the team and got the answer I was after in laymans terms that I could understand and the technical stuff to go with it. The site is one of the most worthwhile sites I have seen. Like a couple of the other people on this guest book I have never sign a guest book before but I felt this site was so helpful it was the least I could do. Please keep up the good work as I will be recommending this site to everyone I know with a Ford. Rob

Peter from United Kingdom wrote on May 5. 2004, 00:23

Jon Evans from United Kingdom wrote on May 7. 2003, 23:53

Brilliant info and advice and the addition of links is quite handy too, especially the tool one! I'm checking out the inssurance ones now and so far they are both well cheaper than my current quote. Please keep up the good work, my fiesta has been run so well for so little money :-) You guys really know your Fords. James

ian gargett from United Kingdom wrote on May 16. 2003, 16:24

thankyou for an excellent site. I rang 3 ford dealers for information on how to re-program my ford galaxy's remote central locking key. The first still hasn't got back to me. The second said they needed the car in the workshop (££££). The third
gave me incorrect information. Thanks to your site my remote was working within minutes

Craig Thomas from United Kingdom wrote on May 19. 2003, 14:57

Thanx for the advice, I have a fiesta you've helped me fix on many occasions

Darran from United Kingdom wrote on June 2. 2004, 19:51

The only thing that gets my back up is that a massive company such as Ford cant be faithful to the customer as to tell them how to programme there key fob after battery failiure, and charging them pounds for the pleasure of them doing it. so well done to FIXAFORDCAR for the service they gave to me.

Robiko from United Kingdom wrote on June 5. 2003, 00:51

Great site with some great tips, I shall be here more often as I'm converting my Sierra GLS to take a lot of Ghia extras (I know, I'm mad ;o) ).

Geoff from United Kingdom wrote on June 19. 2003, 17:37

I not only recieved confirmation of my e-mail request BUT got a diagnosis within 20mins. This was very very late in the evening. Hows that for service. A big thanks to Keith

Barry Millward from United Kingdom wrote on June 22. 2003, 16:30

WOW! What a find this site was, I bought a Mondeo and it needed a few things doing to it, which I knew were going to be expensive. I had a quote from a couple of garages and they both were in the £800 mark which took me by surprise. So I searched the net found this site and with the (I have to say brilliant) help of Keith, I done the lot myself for a meer £178. I really can't thank you enough. I am so grateful, thanks Barry

Andrew La-Page from United Kingdom wrote on June 23. 2003, 13:54

found site on the off chance picked up some ideas to try out looks good

Peter Currack from United Kingdom wrote on July 4. 2004, 15:00

This site is a mine of useful information, I was a bit dubious about signing up but I have to say it's the best £12.50 I've ever spent on my car. Within hours I'd already saved my membership fee by fixing what I thought was going to be an expensive repair. Keep up the brilliant work, you've got a life member here. Pete

STEPHEN TREADWELL from United Kingdom wrote on July 6. 2003, 19:25

good site, good information, keep up the good work

Steven Downs from United Kingdom wrote on October 16. 2004, 03:11

I was having loads of troubles with my car cutting out and I'd spent a fortune with garages
trying to sort it out. I saw the site and thought, "what the hell, another £12.50 on top of the
£2-300 I've already spent wont hurt". I was a little sceptical but I signed up anyway. Within 24
hours the car was cured and the guys had not only told me what the problem was but even talked me
(the world's least practical bloke) through how to fix it myself and I did. Saving me on labour costs.
I'd spent 3 months and about £270 un-successfully trying to cure my fault and the guys on this site succeeded
in 24 hours, without even seeing the car and all for the price of £31.24 including the joining fee.
I never sign guest books but I am so impressed and grateful I had to pass it on (I know it sounds corny but it's true)
Not only am I NOT haemorrhaging money any more but my girlfriend has stopped going on about getting a new car! (that was worth the membership fee on it's own)
Thank you guys, thank you. Steve

Ignazio from United Kingdom wrote on October 31. 2004, 19:47

I've just saved £80 thanks tips found in this web site. Hopefully,
I'll lear how to fix little things on my Focus, without be ripped off
from dealers and service center

Jane Bowmont from United Kingdom wrote on December 24. 2004, 16:49:

Brilliant site, they talk to you in your language, they DO NOT treat you as a woman driver
and they really know their stuff. It's all too easy to be ripped off when it comes to cars and although I didn't attempt to repair my own car
I knew exactly what needed doing and roughly how much to pay
to get it done. A big thank you to the Fixafordcar site. If you own a Ford, JOIN
Jane

T. Mann from United Kingdom wrote on May 4. 2006, 4:15

Spanking site mate, info spot on and considering the prices garages charge, £14.99 is a right bargain. I've saved that already! wicked

David from United Kingdom wrote on May 14. 2006 21.30

I did what you said - the car is fine now - running better than ever! The Ford garage were really unhelpful - they wanted about £170 to do a job which, with your help, took me 15 minutes. The part cost me about £35. Your website is really good and you replied to my e mail almost by return.

Thanks for fantastic service!

David
